2024 KTM 500 EXC

The most expensive street-legal dirt bike in KTM’s 2024 lineup.

Like its standard-model dual sports, KTM gave the 500 EXC-F Six Days a complete overhaul for 2024. This means it shares new components with the regular 500 EXC-F such as a fuel-injected liquid-cooled SOHC four-stroke 511cc engine, WP Xact 48mm closed-cartridge coil-spring fork, WP Xplor PDS (Progressive Damping System) shock, double-cradle chromoly steel frame, two-piece polyamide/aluminum subframe, bodywork, and more.

The special-edition version of the Austrian manufacturer’s top-of-the-line street-legal dirt bike sets itself apart from the standard 500 EXC-F with a list of trick components that are designed and built for the rigors of the International Six Days Enduro (ISDE). What are those items? For starters, there’s orange-anodized CNC-machined triple clamps, a radiator fan, Giant rims with Six Days logo, semi-floating front brake disc, solid rear brake disc, rear brake safety wire, and an orange front axle puller.

Other model-specific items include a grippier seat cover, handlebar with model-specific bend, soft-compound gray ODI lock-on grips, composite skid plate, orange-anodized rear sprocket, anthracite-coated muffler with Six Days logo, orange chain guide, white plastic, and unique Six Days Argentina graphics. And who could forget about the orange powdercoated frame that’s synonymous with KTM’s special-edition motocross, cross-country, enduro, and dual sport models. Orange frame protectors are added to match.
